WaterCheck is a one-person project. It only collects what you choose to type into one of its two forms, and I never sell or share anyone's information.
The zip code lookup itself runs in your browser — the zip you type isn't sent anywhere unless you then submit the "Notify me" form.
Form submissions are stored in Netlify Forms, the form service of the company that hosts this site. I get an email when something comes in, and I reply from my personal Gmail, so contact conversations also live in my Gmail. That's it — no mailing list service, no automation tools, nothing else.
Send a message through the contact form on the About page from the email address you used, and I'll delete your submissions within 30 days — from Netlify Forms and from my Gmail.
WaterCheck doesn't use visitor analytics or tracking cookies. Netlify, the host, processes standard server logs, as any website host does. Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those font files from Google's servers.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
